Made with 100% Nebbiolo grapes from one of the highest vineyard in the area at more than 500 meters above sea level. A Heroic vineyard such as this one with a slope over 30 degrees, requires all vineyard work completed by hand, since the use of machinery is not always possible. Aged for one year in Slavonian oak (2500-litre casks) this elegant Nebbiolo has beautifully soft tannin, crunchy red fruits and lingering minerality.


Sommelier’s Recommendation Bright red colour with reflections that turn to garnet. The nose expresses notes of raspberries, aromatic herbs, violets and pepper. On the palate it is structured and tannic, balanced by flavor and acidity. Excellent with antipasto meats, Pasta with red meat ragout, grilled and roasted red meats and  medium-aged cheeses.

Massimo Rivetti Family Farm with its 25 hectares, cultivated under the organic certification, grows both traditional and international grapes. The annual production is around 100.000 bottles, mainly divided between Barbaresco and Barbera d’Alba. All the fields are grouped around three farm houses: Froi, Garassino and Palazzina. Inside the first one, situated into the village of Neive, there is the winery which is built on Serraboella hill, one of the most important for the production of Barbaresco.
