AN AUSTRALIAN FIRST. Imagine finishing your classes for the day and sitting down to a 3 course meal that is matched to the wines that were tasted in class. This is learning about wine the right way. This course is completed in one day. and is the perfect combination of theory and practical with the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely lunch with your peers.
- Explore the main types and styles of wine
- Gain the basic skills to describe wines accurately
- Better understand food and wine pairings
- Enjoy a 3 Course Gourmet Meal after the completion of the Exam with the wines tasted during the course. The meal will be enjoyed at one of Sydney Restaurant Group’s renowned venues based in Sydney.
- The Meal component gives you the opportunity to engage with your classmates and teachers outside of the classroom.

AN AUSTRALIAN FIRST. Imagine finishing your classes for the day and sitting down to a 3 course meal that is matched to the wines that were tasted in class. This is learning about wine the right way. This course is set over 4 x Saturdays with the exam sat on the 5th Saturday.
WSET’s Level 2 Award in Wines is a beginner to intermediate level qualification exploring wines, suitable for industry professionals and wine enthusiasts.
- Gain knowledge of the principal and regionally important grape varieties of the world
- Learn how to describe wines with confidence using the world leading WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting
- Explore the World’s Greatest Wine Regions and the styles of wine they produce

- Enjoy Four 3 Course Gourmet Meals matched with the wines that were tasted and discussed in class that day.

Cancellations and Refunds
•Cancellations must be advised in writing, more than 14 working days prior to course commencement are eligible for a full refund minus the $50 Administration Charge. No refunds are made for cancellations advised within 14 working days of the course commencement.
•Courses are run subject to demand. If there are insufficient numbers, courses may be canceled or deferred. If a course is canceled you are entitled to a full refund minus the $120 cost of the study pack if not returned within 14 working days.
•Course fees cannot be refunded to participants who are unable to attend classes for reasons beyond our control.

Definitely not. Our courses are designed for both Wine Enthusiasts and Industry Professionals alike. We offer Beginner Level through to Advanced Level Courses for all levels of knowledge and experience with wine.

Meals are only provided for our Gourmet & Corporate Courses where there is a 3 course meal at the end of each day’s classes. For all other classes you will need to bring or buy your own lunch or dinner.
For all courses, you will be required to complete independent home study between classes and prior to the exam. The courses are built to challenge you and you will need to commit time for study at home. Your teacher will ensure you have all the necessary tools to pass each level.
Yes, you can. You will be able to resit a portion or all of the exam anytime SRG Wine Academy is holding that Level Exam.
